The Starletts are the Lower Cape Figure Skating’s top level synchronized skating team. They are a U.S. Intermediate Figure Skating Team consisting of skaters that are current members of U.S. Figure Skating and have completed U.S. testing through pre-juvenile moves in the field. They are also current members of the Lower Cape Figure Skating Association and have completed ISI testing through Freestyle 3. The Starletts consist of a very committed and enthusiastic group of skaters that practice anywhere between 3-5 hours per week with a U.S. season running from August to January. This season they look forward to competing at the Cape Cod Synchronized Skating Classic in Bourne, MA, on December 12-13, 2008, and at the Colonial Figure Skating Classic in Lowell, MA, on January 9-10, 2009. They will also be performing at the Lower Cape FSC “Skate with Santa” on December 14, 2008, the ISI Lower Cape Figure Skating Competition in April 2009, as well as the Lower Cape FSC annual Spring Show in May 2009.

This team is a "skating" category made up of 12 skaters between the ages of 7 and 12 years old and their synchro maneuvers include moving formations forward & backward with footwork and jumps.

The Americana Girls are the Lower Cape Figure Skating Association's introductory synchronized team. Here our youngest skaters learn basic synchronized formation skating during weekly practices under the direction of Coach Joyce Hussey. The Americana Girls compete up to four times per year as an ISI Youth Formation Team.
